Te Kairanga Wines

Te Kairanga is one of Martinborough’s founding vineyards established over 20 years ago. In keeping with the pioneering spirit surrounding the vineyard, a number of Te Kairanga wines have hailed from Martinborough’s history and that of its inhabitants dating back to 1879. Our own John Martin Reserve Pinot Noir, known and loved by many, is notably named after the founding father of Martinborough – John Martin himself. Likewise the Pinot Runholder is aptly named as a tribute to the runholders of the land back in time.

Synonymous with international benchmark Pinots and good times, Te Kairanga is well known for hosting many popular summer events and for being a key site during Toast Martinborough.

Cellar Door sales are in The Cottage – the home of John Martin’s senior stockman, built over 140 years ago. Winery and vineyard tours are available with a minimum booking of 15 people at $15 per person.

Cellar Door hours:
Summer (October to April): Monday – Friday 11am – 4pm and until 5pm on the weekends.
