There’s something for everyone to enjoy in Martinborough and the surrounding area.
Start with a leisurely stroll or bike ride around the local vineyards & olive groves, many of which are located within easy walking distance of the village. For the more adventurous there’s jet boating, quad biking, horse trekking, kayaking and more. Explore the remote east coast beaches of Tora and White Rock, you may be the only ones there. Alternatively, visit the seal colony at Cape Palliser & climb the 200+ steps to the lighthouse, or walk through the Putangirua Pinnacles and continue into the Haurangi Forest Park.
If all of this sounds too energetic you can always sit back, relax & sample some of the famous Martinborough wine.
